Pan Seared Pork Chops
Pork chops about 3/4 inch thick - Maggi - Season Salt - 1 cup of chicken broth - 2 oz Butter - 2 oz EVO
Place chops on plate and stab a few times with a fork. Add a few squirts of Maggi to each chop and spread out with fork. Turn a few times to get both sides exposed to Maggi. Season and set aside for 10 minutes.
Heat frypan to high. Put in butter and EVO. When butter bubbles add the chops. Sear each side for 1.5 minutes to 2 minutes each. Turn down heat to medium high and pour in chicken stock. Reduce stock to a syrup and plate chops.
(After searing chops, you can place them in the oven for 10 minutes at 350ºF (175ºC), if you want to free up the stove top. Let chops rest for 5 minutes after cooking.
