Pork Roast
Sirloin Pork roast - Onion Soup Mix - Maggi - 2-3 Potatoes - Baby carrots - Corn Starch
Fill a roasting pan with 1 inch of water. Add one package of onion soup mix and a few squirts of Maggi seasoning. Place pork roast in centre. Peal and cube potatoes and place around roast with a bag of baby carrots. Preheat oven to 350ºF (175ºC) and place roasting pan on middle rack for 1.5 hours.
Remove roast and let rest. With a slotted spoon, remove vegies into bowl and cover. Place roasting pan on burner and set to high. Put 2 Tbsp of corn starch into a half cup of cold water and mix well. Add to the roasting pan and as soon as the gravy starts to bubble, start stirring until gravy thickens (about 3-4 minutes). Carve roast, place on plate with vegies and put on the gravy.
Note: Instead of a pork roast, you can use a whole chicken and follow the same directions.
