Potato Fritters

Potatoes - Bisto (pancake mix) - Vegetable Oil - Season Salt

Place cooking oil on medium/high heat. Peel potatoes and cut 2 to 3 times thicker than a potato chip (around 1/8 inch thick). Mix Bisto and water to make a paste. Dip the potato into the paste and drop into hot oil. (5-10 slices, serves 1 person). When coating floats and turns a golden brown, remove from oil, pat with paper towel to remove oil and sprinkle Season Salt over potatoes & serve immediately.
