White Bread Recipe
2 1/2 cups of warm water - 5 Tbsp of sugar - 3 Tbsp yeast - 2 Tbsp of oil - 6 cups of bread flour - 2 Tsp of salt - 1 Tsp of baking powder - 4 oz water
Add flour, salt, sugar, baking powder to a large bowl and mix. Add yeast to warm water (105ºF) and mix. Mix dry and wet ingredients, plus oil together and knead the dough. If dough starts sticking to any surface, add more flour. When flour is not sticky any longer, (10 minutes) place dough back in bowl and set aside. Fill a measuring cup 3/4 full of water and bring to a boil in the microwave then add the bowl containing the bread dough and close the microwave door. Leave the dough for 1 hour and then kneed it for 5 minutes. Re-boil water and put dough back in microwave for another hour. Remove dough and place contents between two bread baking dishes. Re-boil water and put both bread dishes in microwave and close the door. After 40 minutes, heat oven to 400ºF (205ºC). When the dough rises above the rim of the bread baking dishes, place them in oven until golden brown (about 30 minutes).
